Donate in Lieu of Gifts

Whether you’re celebrating a birth, birthday, wedding, anniversary or any other special event, please ask friends and family to make a donation to MISS instead of buying a gift, to make a valuable and memorable contribution, that will help others after the loss of their baby through miscarriage.

Leave a Gift in your Will

After you’ve thought of family and friends, leaving a gift to MISS in your Will, will help continue to fund the resources, services and activities of MISS.

Your bequest can come in many shapes and forms, including:

  • A residual bequest, which gives the remainder of your estate to MISS after your family has been provided for;
  • A percentage of your estate; or
  • A lump sum donation.

Bequeathing to MISS in your will is the best way of ensuring that your legacy will continue.

Trusts and Foundations

Grants from trusts and foundations are an essential part of our work as they provide the opportunity for much needed programs and resources to help people after miscarriage, and to help prevent mental health issues from developing.

MISS is committed to seeking philanthropic and charitable funds in order to grow our capacity and improve outcomes for our all people after miscarriage and the broader community.

MISS is seeking funding to run healing and community education programs that are free to attend for the community, to assist people to understand and manage their grief after miscarriage, and to connect them with informal support networks.

If you can help MISS in growing our funding, through charitable trusts, foundations or donations, or are interested in what we are seeking funding for, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
